02. MY REFLECTIONS AND DISCOVERIES.

While listening to the lecture, I noticed how the brain resists when it hears familiar concepts.

For example, the method of consciousness and energy. We have already gone through this, why repeat it again, why waste time on it? Repetition causes an unpleasant feeling. It seems that I have already heard all this, you know, understand and apply it and there is no desire to develop in this direction.

But I also realize that I understand it only partially, clearly not 100%, there is something to work on. But there is no longer that novelty, interest, which itself supports learning.

And I remember what they said about meditation - hold your attention on one object and the object will open up to you. Apparently, this works not only in meditation. In training, you can also hold attention on the material, first understand the general concepts, then some details, question and prove, etc.

The problem is that holding attention is not as interesting for the brain as picking up the basics of something new. I think that experience is needed for motivation. When you have already done this and know that it will give a positive effect that will pay off the effort, then it is easier, the significance increases. And to gain such experience, you need to hold attention.

But you need success in this direction. And training can be considered as a simulator for managing attention, as preparation for meditation...
