02. MY REFLECTIONS AND DISCOVERIES.
While listening to the lecture on YouTube, I almost fell asleep. More precisely, I caught myself in a state where part of the brain listens, perceives, while the body and the other part of the brain (feels like) are asleep. I wonder how effective such training is or is it just a fight against sleep...
I decided to try this for cramming English in my sleep.
At first it was something like nidra, then I fell asleep on purpose.
I didn’t get enough sleep, although I woke up only a couple of times, but I fell asleep worse.
What’s interesting is that you feel more tired in your body than in your brain, as if you were physically working at night.
When I woke up, I didn’t hear a sound, but after a few seconds, it was as if the fluid was draining from my ears and my ability to hear returned. I wonder if it might be a natural mechanism of protection against noise.
