For this course, you have two options to complete your homework—select one and post your response to the forum.



Option 1: Write a Short Essay on a Yoga Topic (100 words minimum) 

Choose one of the five beginner-friendly topics below and write a short essay of at least 100 words. Essays of fewer than 100 words will not be accepted. There are no right or wrong answers—share your thoughts and reflections in a way that feels true to you. Post your response to the forum.

1. Law of Rita in My Life. Have you noticed any examples of the Law of Rita in your life recently? Have ordinary things started to open up in a different way for you? What has changed for you before and after this course?

2. Questions I Have About Yoga. What are some things you’ve always wondered about yoga? Are there poses, breathing exercises, or meditation practices you’re curious to try?

3. Yoga Inspirations I’ve Seen or Heard About. Share a story related to yoga that has inspired you, even if you haven’t practiced yet.

4. How I Found Out About Yoga. Each person discovers yoga in a different way, and every path is unique and meaningful. Share your story of how you became interested in yoga and what drew you to begin your practice.

5. What I Hope Yoga Will Teach Me. Reflect on what you hope to learn through yoga—about your body, mind, emotions, or lifestyle.

12. How Did You Discover IOYU? What Drew You In?*
Example: I found IOYU by searching online for International Yoga University. What attracted me most was the opportunity to study yoga online. With my busy and ever-changing schedule, this finally made serious study possible. I also hope to become a yoga teacher one day, so I’m especially interested in the teacher training program.
