Principles of Yoga - shortly

·Above all Yoga is kindness, morality, humanity, forgiving, responsibility, self-control, self-discipline and a helping hand for all living beings in their acquisition of happiness.

· Teaching, which claims to be yoga, must rigorously observe "the first and the second principles of yoga."

· The first principle of yoga, says: "You should make every effort to do no harm to any living being unless extreme necessity. If it is not possible to avoid causing harm, you should follow the path of duty.

· Also, this principle is known as the principle of kindness and the principle of introducing Superlogic into personal life.

· We cannot avoid causing harm, BUT! we can reduce it to a minimum.

· We must learn the art of transforming evil into good.

· The second principle of yoga says,

"You should not spend your energy and direct your mind to anything that does not lead you to achievement of the goals that you have defined for your work, school, leisure, yoga or any other area of life."

· Before you get involved in anything ,ask yourself whether it leads you to your goals, if not, then you should leave it as a distraction and an unnecessary

· Practicing the second principle develops mental power, and the habit of checking every action for logic. Therefore, the second principle of yoga is sometimes called the principle of using logic in personal life.

· You can only use these two principles simultaneously.

· If the first and the second principles of yoga contradict each other, try to find a solution to maximize implementation of the first principle and to minimize the failure to implement the second principle.

· The way of life when we're trying to observe the first and the second principle of yoga, most closely matches to our Dharma.
