Lately, events have been happening to me with increased frequency. It's as if someone forgot to turn off the faucet and it's all pouring down on me. Something happens, new challenges arise, circumstances constantly bring something unusual that demands attention and energy.
Previously, such events happened much less frequently; it was somehow easier to cope.
I remember reading somewhere how people measure time – precisely by events. For example: before or after World War II, before Perestroika, during COVID. We have clocks and calendars, but these are more abstract concepts. It's often easier to navigate by saying morning, before sunset, in winter, after the New Year.
Another interesting fact is that in life-threatening situations, such as a car accident, time seems to slow down; a person sees things happening very slowly. This can be explained by heightened perception, allowing for time to react and survive. Perhaps this can be explained by heightened attention to small events during an accident.

And remember the theory of relativity: time can diverge for moving and stationary objects.
So, time is a strange thing—how can we perceive it or measure it objectively?
You can make a clock in which events occur more or less evenly and count them, but even the most accurate clock will count relative time.
Even lying on the couch, we move at the speed of the earth's rotation around us, around the sun, and so on.

According to axiomatic theory, a stone is also alive, but it changes so slowly, as if time had almost stopped for it.
And a microbe can live no longer than a few minutes or hours.
The different speeds of time can separate, forming separate bubbles, which brings to mind Maya.
