02. MY REFLECTIONS AND DISCOVERIES.

When you have a lot to do, you try to somehow plan your day, what's important to do today, what's most urgent.
Sometimes something distracts you, and then suddenly you remember: I wanted to order a thermos; I need to choose and order it quickly, otherwise I'll forget again.
I'm watching a lecture on YouTube, and he's showing shorts next to it, so tempting, I just want to watch them. But no, the lecture first. Now, I've finished watching, and then I can watch a short, and then another...

About the brain, from Maxim Dorofeev:
Instead of the important or urgent, it strives for the understandable. The brain avoids the pain of thinking, preferring clear actions, even if they don't lead to progress.

We choose what to do in any given moment. At the same time, we choose not to do everything else.
But if the brain strives for what is clear, then who chooses complex learning?
Offhand, either something higher than the brain, like the higher self, or the same brain, but from a long-term perspective.
For example, in the short term, lying down and eating a lot feels good, but in the long term, this leads to pain.
Here we can also recall the neocortex and the limbic system, as well as a certain choice about which of them will work.

And, actually, who is in charge?
Has our higher self expressed its will, and we have this structure?
Is this the optimal option for the current moment, or are we continuing to change?
