02. MY REFLECTIONS AND DISCOVERIES.

As the exam date approaches, the importance of preparing for it increases. Putting it off is no longer an option; the deadline, the "panic monster," etc., motivate you to act as effectively as possible. A strict assessment of what to keep in life and what to ruthlessly discard. It's like tunnel vision sets in. You become focused on what's important and confused about everything else.
On the one hand, this increases concentration and efficiency for solving a specific task, which is good. On the other hand, there's still family, work, and other things to do. It somehow happens that closer to an exam, the efficiency flywheel starts spinning, then the exam, and then this inertia can be used for other things or spent on studying. But without a deadline, for me, the flywheel gradually slows.

Would you like to be as efficient as possible all the time?
Sounds good in terms of achieving goals. But the question is how much you're willing to give up. But you can't have it all; your resources are limited, and you can't do everything at once.
Apparently, a balance is needed, for the current moment in life.
On the one hand, it's a question of choosing goals, what's important in the current moment. On the other hand, focusing on goals and discarding everything else. It seems the process is iterative; until you discard something, it's not really clear whether it was unnecessary junk or an important part of your life.
