01. MY THREE POSITIVES.
1. Vacation is a break from work.
2. The weather is great, you can swim in the sea.
3. Feel the value of movement after the sedentary train ride.
02. MY THOUGHTS AND DISCOVERIES.
I've met all kinds of people in my life, from those who can't resist a drink if it's available to those who are completely indifferent to it.
And those in the middle who don't allow themselves to drink during normal times, but occasionally drink on holidays or weekends. But there can be a negative trend: at first only on holidays, then on weekends, then in the evenings. And sometimes even at work, but the possibility of losing your job deters (or doesn't).
Drinking usually develops into an addiction.
Most people understand that alcohol is harmful, but are willing to sacrifice some of their health for the sake of intoxication. Some people understand that it's harmful, but they have a craving for alcohol, and even a small amount can cause them to relapse. It's easier to just quit, not even try.
Neither are indifferent nor dependent, but the question is how to control their addiction.
But it seems that there are people who are indifferent and can drink or not drink. For example, they can have a drink with friends, just to keep company.
Interestingly, most don't consider themselves dependent. They usually say, "Yes, I drink, but I can quit at any time, I just don't want to quit yet."
They seem to be deluding themselves into thinking they're not an alcoholic, they just drink.
Yes, people are stressed, their heads are spinning, their nerves are on edge, but after drinking vodka, they feel better, their brain is numb, their muscles are relaxed, and they can rest. But the trouble is, then comes the hangover and all the same unresolved problems.
And I've somehow found that the more developed a person is, the more indifferent they are to alcohol.
They have other, stronger addictions, like a thirst for knowledge, discovery, and development, and this displaces alcohol.
For a person who hasn't discovered such pleasures, it's easier to drink...
