Understanding the process gives control over it. At least in a situation where we can change something. And where we cannot change the situation itself, we can change our attitude towards it.
The week for me turned into stress at work, due to the inability to control the situation, but the knowledge about stress gained in open yoga really helps.
But I also want to add on my own behalf, I don’t remember that we went through this.
During stress, the state is very energetic, you can hit or run, you don’t notice the pain, etc. But after the stress has passed, fatigue and a feeling of damage to the body come over me. Probably, signs of cell damage are not noticeable on hormones, but when the pain relief wears off, the sensations return and it may turn out that you overdid it with the effort somewhere. But relaxation and a desire to lie down and recover also come.
