There are contradictory instructions:

The course on hatha yoga says that you need to find harmony, feel the joy of doing or overcoming. Following your feelings, we practice, only the person himself can understand whether it is harmonious for him or not. And various clarifications, in which direction and how exactly to do it - a newfangled, unnecessary complications, in ancient treatises there was no such thing. Such complications can interfere with practice, forcing you to do it "correctly", but not harmoniously.

On the other hand, we are taught safety techniques - to pull the toe so that the knee is in good shape, do not spread the knees in the hero's resting pose, etc. Explaining this with anatomy, understanding how not to harm the body. And in the resting pose, the knees move apart so harmoniously... and only the knowledge that this will lead to problems with the joints stops it.

It turns out that harmony should be not only during the execution, but also for some time after. And it is no longer so much about current sensations, but about predicting the consequences of actions, from your own experience or from the studied material.

All this is logical, but there is one drawback, can we trust our feelings during execution, knowing that the consequences can come much later?

But knowing the safety precautions or understanding how it works anatomically, we can avoid learning from our own negative experience.

And without knowing what it can lead to, it is better to move in small steps - did not do much, observed myself for several days.

I wonder if it was like this before or have modern people lost the correct understanding of harmonious execution?
