About the goals of life.
It talks about achieving something, getting a pearl, self-exploration , etc.
And everything would be fine, but what next?
So you can say that the goal is to survive, but then it turns out that the goal is not the final one.
Then, the goal is not just to live, but to live well, etc.
The ultimate goal is complete liberation, but why and is there a further goal behind it that we do not yet understand?
