Why wish for anything else if everything is good as it is.
I read Swami Vivekananda's comments on Patanjali's yoga sutras, and a question arose.
If there is some infinite, omnipotent being, then why does it need to manifest itself in limited forms?
If the natural state is already a state of happiness, then what are the motives?
Will it divide and suffer and rejoice, and then merge into one again?
They say it's to gain experience.
But doesn't such a being already have everything that can be, including this experience?

Or is this a question of definition, such as the fact that we are all manifestations of life, consisting of certain particles, atoms, molecules?
If you take a planet and include everyone who lives on it, then this is the planet as a whole, but you can also divide it into its inhabitants, etc.
