02. REFLECTIONS AND DISCOVERIES.
A joke:
A hippie caught a golden fish. The fish pleaded:
"Let me go, hippie, and I’ll grant you three wishes!"
"I want the Tatar-Mongol Yoke to be in Sweden."
The fish granted his wish. The Tatars devastated Sweden.
"State your second wish!"
"I want the Tatar-Mongol Yoke not to be in Sweden!"
The fish granted his wish, and Sweden became a prosperous country once again.
"State your third wish!"
"I want the Tatar-Mongol Yoke to be in Sweden."
The fish granted the third wish and asked:
"Listen, hippie, why do you want this?"
"I love it when people hang out together."
If our Higher Self is free and omnipotent, then there is no need for another being—the Absolute—created by that Higher Self.
But if such a need did exist, then someone would have had to create the Absolute as well.
Logic suggests there is no point in multiplying entities.
However, if the Higher Self and the Absolute are one and the same, then it all adds up: nothing was ever born, and what has always existed will always exist.
On one hand, freedom allows one to create anything, including multiplying entities. On the other hand, if a being is already omnipotent, why bother? If you already have everything, would you want anything else? What else is there, if you already have it all? And where does desire come from if everything is already perfect?
