02. MY THOUGHTS AND DISCOVERIES.

Joke:
What are "gadgets"? It's when you buy a phone for 100,000 rubles, come home, show it to your wife, tell her the price, and she says, "You're such a jerk!"(gad je ty)

My watch broke, it seemed like a trivial thing; I used to go without it and never noticed.
But now I really miss it. I raise my wrist, but I can't tell the time, notifications aren't buzzing—I have to check my phone, set a timer, track my physical activity, how many steps I took today, how many hours I slept, and how well I slept, etc. Moreover, the habit is so strong that only by looking at my empty hand do I remember it doesn't tell time.
My first instinct was to buy a replacement.

And then I thought, this is an associative connection I've formed. A strong habit had developed, a channel had been dug, and now it's gone, what should I do with the usual flow?

Next comes the trading, but do I really need them?

Measuring my heart rate during physical activity, not missing urgent messages, and knowing the time—all seem important and useful.
But the downside is dependence, attachment to the gadget.
And that's just the watch. What if I'm left without my phone?

There are other useful things, entertainment, communication, etc. in there.
How can I separate them so I can use them when they help, but not get too attached?
