01. MY THREE POSITIVES.
1. Passed my test.
2. Going to the seminar.
3. The TV series "The Good Place" - philosophical questions in a comedy format.

02. MY THOUGHTS AND DISCOVERIES.

Reading Antifragile, I found yet another justification for the idea that everything is more complex than it seems and that the universe is already enlightened.
As I understand it, the idea is this: if we want a system that can survive any change, it must contain fragile and easily replaceable elements. One example is the market. Market participants risk their savings, betting on the future. Some make mistakes and lose, others guess right and gain, but the market system itself doesn't suffer from this; it's, as it were, a level above the market players. Supply and demand, price formation—all of this occurs as a natural process. Unless it's artificially constrained.
If you don't see the whole picture, but only consider the fate of market participants, you might want to intervene and improve things. For example, for a certain product, demand exceeds supply, and the price rises. As the price rises, production of that product increases (if it can be produced by different participants), demand is satisfied, and the price falls. This is a natural mechanism.
But if you intervene, even with good intentions, by setting a limit—say, for a socially significant product, let it cost no more than a certain amount—the price won't rise, fewer people will be interested in producing it, and production may even decline, as it becomes unprofitable. On the other hand, such regulation may be necessary to prevent citizens from starving and becoming discontented.
My point is that when we think something needs to change in this world, we interfere with the ongoing process; we can disrupt this natural mechanism.
I had a tree growing, stretching upward, but it kept falling over. I propped it up and tied it with string, hoping that the trunk would strengthen and hold itself up. Five years passed, the tree grew, but due to its unnatural length, it still couldn't stand without the rope. I had to shorten it to a length that could stand on its own, without the need for crutches. It turns out there was no point in this support; it was better to let it fight gravity and form a more stable system.
Helping on one level can break it on another. But what if there are not two, but hundreds of levels? How can you avoid falling into inaction if you can't see the whole picture and don't understand the consequences of actions on all levels?
Moreover, the universe already exists, and apparently for a long time, without external regulation. So what's the point of trying to change it? If attempts to change something are already integrated into the system, does it really need these attempts?

But we can change something within ourselves. Everything we do, we do only for ourselves. Didn't Vivekananda say that?
