At one of the lectures of the autumn seminar, Vadim Openyoga touched upon the topic of finding a reasonable, appropriate, adequate, current state of affairs in the world, approach to identifying possible ways of developing Open Yoga.
The concept of freedom, which yoga calls for, requires a balanced attitude to the choice of methods and approaches, the implementation of which, on the one hand, is available, on the other, potentially effective. To move forward, certain resources are needed, but the issue of their acquisition and use should not infringe on anyone's Freedom, this is the basis of evolution and development. That is, the process of development and promotion of the school cannot be karmically burdened, otherwise it will lead to opposite results. There are well-known, widely used options, which can be roughly divided into the categories of "spiritual McDonald's" or "sect". They are based on different principles of "gluing" the system, but they all do not correspond to the principles of yoga. At certain stages, such resources can accelerate progress, give an impetus, but, ultimately, they will create a situation of dependence, which limits the general Freedom, and the seeds of negative karma will also be sown, which in principle contradicts the concept of Yoga.
Thus, an extremely difficult task appears, requiring a very balanced approach. Knowledge of Yoga is the highest substance, not always available for complete understanding, especially transmission. And the task of the School could be presented as the need to do what is available to us. An association comes to mind with the manufacture of a vessel, a container, in which the priceless and inaccessible for description within the framework of our sense organs, body structures, the nectar of Knowledge can be stored and passed on.
Taking into account the above, the main "whales", points of support, should be such areas as IT, English, the creation of an ecovillage. This will allow to kindly and reasonably combine the development of an individual, the entire School, as well as the advancement of the Knowledge of Yoga, and make the process of evolution itself harmonious. English and IT competences allow an individual to be successful and independent, as well as to carry knowledge as efficiently as possible in modern conditions. An ecovillage is a way of life, like-minded people, Bhava, long explanations are inappropriate here, this is an environment and conditions.
Naturally, the practical implementation of the concept will have many obstacles and difficulties. But it is not for nothing that the motto of our school is "Through the thorns to the stars." Our Higher Self is omnipotent and free!
